Description

Ecstatic to finally be able add a Capullo Batman piece to my collection! I love how this battle page, from early in the "Court of Owls" arc, is laid out. Starting with Batman coming straight into your living room in the top panel, the action flowing down through the page, & culminating with the enigmatic expression on Batman's face at the bottom. You can almost make out a smirk as he tosses a high-powered magnet onto the passing subway car. I wonder what effect that will have on the thugs wearing the metal masks?!

I was eyeing this piece for awhile on Glapion's site. I just couldn't pull the trigger. Congrats on the purchase. One of the better pages he had available on his site.

I also had looked at this page for years, along with 2 others available from the run. Over time, the other 2 sold, so i decided not to let this one get away. It was always my favorite of the 3.

A great modern classic! It'll be recognized as such for all time. The illustrative style with high action intensity was a great match for Batman stories that leaned more into an atmosphere of mystery and dread.
