Mysterio means to set in motion the massacre at the crux of Old Man Logan's apocalyptic future timeline. But who is pulling his strings? The master of illusion's newest benefactors will surprise you!

Transported to the present from an alternative timeline where villains triumphed and the world devolved into lawless wastelands, Logan used his second chance at life to rejoin the X-Men and Avert catastrophes like the ones that befell his world. However, his advanced age has caught up with him and his famed healing factor is severely reduced, leaving him slowly dying of adamantium poisoning.

Logan is hunting Mysterio, the villain responsible for the tragic massacre of the X-Men in his timeline. Logan believes he has found him in Times Square, but in truth it is only an illusion making the Avengers appear to him as villains.
