Description

When requesting this commission from Don Maitz, I sent him eight pages of the original Roy Thomas edition graphic novel. This portion is where Elric begins to turn inwards when Yyrkoon and Cymoril cannot be found. This illustration shows Elric beginning to experiment with darker magic. Don Maitz did an excellent job at making his own interpretation.
