DescriptionA 1990 daily of the Brenda Starr strip. Creator Dalia Messick had retired a decade earlier, so the strip was now being drawn by Ramona Fradon and scripted by Mary Schmich.Fradon is rightly regarded as a comics legend, most notably on the comic books Aquaman and Metamorpho. She also drew other iconic superheroes such as Batman, Wonder Woman and the Fantastic Four. Fradon even did some work for Spongebob comics. Fradon's run on Brenda Starr, I believe, is her only work in comic strips. It is every bit as good as her comic book work. It was about time I reached out through Catskill Comics and acquired a piece of Fradon art for my collection. Social/Sharing |

Ben: One Pulitzer works pretty good. Let's see what we get with two of 'em. Keep playing.
Brenda: Then I killed Muggs Walters. It was just a test. It didn't matter who I killed. They picked him to see if all the linkages still worked before they turned me over to my cub reporter. That business about jumping in the lake - it really did happen. It was an accident. Something Fradon said on the phone accidentally triggered it.
Ben: Keep playing!

Raymond: Have you noticed that the human race is divided into two distinct, irreconciliable groups? Those who walk into CAF galleries and automatically look for comics strips to comment on, and those who post strips in their galleries and automatically say "no comments". You know, the problem is, they usually marry each other which naturally causes a great deal of...
