11x17 bristol board, inks over pencils

I picked this up at SDCC 2023 because I saw it and immediately thought of the "What's plan B?" "We all die now." "What's plan C?" exchange between Abigail Brand and Cyclops that happens on this page. It's got a nice mix of spaceships, stuff exploding, that badass Morrison-era jacket, and a LOT of missiles.

The explosions and missile trails were done in white paint and there's a really neat raised texture on the page where the paint's been splattered on it. John Cassaday's work is stellar and it was nice to finally see some of it in person.

Very well graphic design on the gleaming shapes in the void of space to create a cosmic cinematic experience! The all important human touch is squeezed into the third panel to show us that hope is slim.
