Description

Pencils and inks on Bristol board, 11" x 17".

Finally got around to scanning this masterwork from Mr. Darryl Banks, creator of my all-time favorite superhero -- Kyle Rayner. One of my first comic books was Green Lantern #133 (2001), where Rayner teams up with Alan Scott to take down Alexander Nero. I read that book so many times I could quote it by heart ... and frequently did, to my parents' chagrin.

Naturally, I had to seek out Darryl Banks to draw both Green Lanterns in a stunning commission, where Kyle breaks out his (oft-forgotten!) artistic ability to draw the Sentinel himself. Brings me back to childhood every time. Thanks Darryl!
