DescriptionAnother beauty of a Nick Bradshaw coverIntroducing a new Deadpool "sidekick" - following the enormous success from the introduction of Spider-Boy in the Dan Slott / Mark Bagley adjectiveless "Spider-Man" title, Marvel decided to see if lightning could strike multiple times and organized a series of variant covers called the "New Champions" where brand new sidekicks were imagined for many of Marvel's title characters. Here we have the Deadpool inspired sidekick along with not only Deadpool but also a dozen of the (Krakoa era) X-Men - Beast, Emma Frost (White Queen), Cable, Bishop, Jean Grey, Sunfire, Rogue, Storm, Iceman, Colossus, Wolverine and Cyclops. And I love the details Nick adds here, including the cute little Spider-Man key chain on the end of the pocketknife. Although no details are available quite yet about this character, here's what Screen Rant wrote: "Bradshaw's cover for Rob Liefeld's Deadpool: Badder Blood #5 features a perfectly '90s young Deadpool sidekick skateboarding past an assemblage of some of the most iconic X-Men heroes, including Cable, Storm, Jean Grey, and Rogue. The cover's central figure, who is meant to be a "secret long-lost" sidekick to Wade, is sporting a classic Deadpool costume with perfect '90s accoutrements like a backwards baseball cap, knee-high X-Men branded socks, and plenty of extraneous pockets and pouches. Hilariously, Deadpool is excitedly yelling, "MY BOY!" as his sidekick boards past, potentially referencing that this long-lost partner is actually his son (he does have many children), or just Wade making another facetious joke. It is not hard to imagine a secret history of Deadpool and Kid Deadpool going on hilarious, violent adventures together, especially since Wade absolutely loves to team up with other heroes, even if they often hate it. The infamous Wade Wilson loves working on teams, and having a partner to listen to his terrible jokes, so it makes perfect sense that he would have a long-lost sidekick. Nick Bradshaw's '90s-inspired edgy protégé is the exact person you'd expect to be working with the attention-seeking motormouth Deadpool." Social/Sharing |

Deadpool is on top it and gets on that Spider-Boy gravy train! Much cooler with what middle age people think would make a cool modern character!

Great example of why I love Bradshaw's art so much. Absolutely jam packed with 14 highly detailed characters. Such a fun cover with a great perspective!
