Compelling sequence from the Zibarro issues of All-Star Superman! You always pull great stuff out of your collection to post.

A gentle amount of linework by Quitely to lovingly pay tribute to all the absurd Silver Age Superman stories in this series and none more representative of those times than a Bizarro story with a defective Zibarro to lead his people. There's real danger to the story as the red sun requires Superman to shot into space back to Earth like he was when he was a baby! Great twist by Morrison!

Such a perfectly twisted issue, yet featuring a strangely melancholic Zibarro to add pathos. Quitely and Morrison are always great at mixing tones and it really shows in these pages. Love the look of determined desperation Quitely captured on Supes' face. Fantastic pages, thanks for sharing this sequence!
