Description

Always have been a big fan of the Legion of Super Heroes, Silver Age pages I don't know if I have ever seen any for sale and Levitz / Giffen era rarely surface, not a fan of last run and the Waid / KItson run was okay but nothing super memorable.

Truth be told the after Zero Hour Run never stuck with me as well. Of course I had a lot going on at that point in my life, but what I did love was the Lee Moder / Ron Boyd artwork. Sadly Lee passed away recently and some of the art came on the market. So through a sad circumstance it gave me the chance to own some terrific LOSH artwork.

Lee's work has a certain fluidity to it that sometimes had a touch of Alan Davis look, but also all his own style. Just a beautiful page.

Has that definitive look of the Legion during that era! Youthful and cartoony to have fluidity when everyone else was drawing buff and stiff bodybuilders. The white outlines around the figures when the background is solid black cinches that look.
