He-Man was huge for me as a kid. I watched the cartoons every day, I had all the action figures at one point between me and my brothers and a couple Christmases and birthdays. A very large part of my childhood that I remember fondly.

One of the things I remember most were those cool mini comics that came with all the figures. I had them all for a while but lost them somewhere along the way. But since I collect for nostalgia primarily, I have been looking for pages from the He-Man mini comics that came with those action figures in the '80s, and they rarely seem to come up publicly. On the rare occasion that they did come up they were too much for me at the time. Recently, Heritage has been running some early pages in their auctions, but I kept being outbid. So when this piece by Bruce Timm was on Heritage recently I went even harder at it and was able to bring it home!

I couldn't be any happier as not only is this great and rare early published Bruce Timm art, but this page has He-Man AND the Power Sword in every panel! So I am thrilled to have this one!
