I’ve been hunting for a Hellboy cover for years and now I finally got it! A little smaller image area than I would like. Still the pose and look is iconic and timeless. Published in 2016.

Considered one of the best works of his career, Hellboy in Hell marked Mignola's big return to long-form storytelling around his iconic character. With his unique stroke and style, as well as his mastering of ink wash shading, Mike Mignola gave us another great cover, with a grim looking Hellboy ready for action. It was done in ink over graphite on a trimmed Bristol board with an image area of 7" x 8.5".

A great combination of what appeals to so many Mignola fans! Iconic in many ways with its simpicity in composition and complexity in themes.

Fantastic piece! This was also an image used for an official tee shirt that was sold by Mike. I purchased a couple when he had an online shop.
