Another of my favorite pieces! Joe was known to do sketches at Cons for fans for a few years until his eyesight became so bad that he could no longer draw. So, there are several versions of this sketch that occasionally re-surface for sale, but I have never seen one as nice as this one. The detail is nothing short of amazing and the entire artistic presentation of this piece is just phenomenal. Believe it or not, I actually passed on this piece when I was first offered it because I thought that the asking price was too high. However, I waited a few days, thought long and hard about it, and decided that I really wanted it anyway (that's how I know that I really want a piece... I walk away, give it time, and if I still want it no matter what, then I'm certain that I should get it). I called the dealer, he still had it, and the rest is history. It's been one of the key pieces in my collection (along with the Superman daily), and more than 35 years later, it's still mine, and I have never regretted purchasing it even once.

A apologize for the glare on the image, but with it being framed, as with the image of some of my other framed pieces, no matter how hard I try, there is always a little glare that I can't seem to get rid of. I have included a second image that should help.

This must be amazing to look at every day. I would stare at it for hours. Congrats on an oustanding piece of comics history.
