DescriptionStraight from my peak nostalgia era, another Sal Buscema page. From Hulk 232, but... no Hulk! Still, one nice panel with Cap and Falcon. Moreover, some great shots of one of my favourite villainesses, the devious, evil psychologist Karla Sofen, aka Moonstone. I think she had one of the coolest uniforms of the '70s. I can't resist metallic costumes and finned helmets, modern versions of ancient Greek armoury.Competent inks by Esposito. Maybe this is not comic books' poetry, but still very solid bronze age super hero action. Social/Sharing |

Got to admit, I have no idea who Moonstone is, but I love that costume! Nice add!

Yes, our Karla is really sneaky! He stole his great costume (together you have powers!) from the original Moonstone. A villain who fought Cap in that nostalgic peak that is for me the " J'Accuse " issue . How many memories !! Does anyone know where the cover is?? Definitely a nostalgic grail for me...
Thanks for sharing Carlo !!

Panel 7....Definition of a solution: Sal Busecema. No truer words were ever put on a page. I consider Sal to one of the very best Marvel artists. I hope he put his signature there deliberately.

Ah ah, I had not noticed the coincidence. Surely he did it on purpose...nice touch!

Classic Bronze Age goodness here from Sal Buscema and Mike Esposito! Love that second panel with Cap and Falcon entering the scene. Terrific pick-up, congrats!
