DescriptionAlex Raymond was such an amazing and talented artist. Simply one of the best ever. He had a wonderful filmic way to give his story and characters live in his panels. And the way he did the shadows was absoloutely impressing. Give some love to this beautiful Rip Kirby daily from 1955 - drawn by Raymond, only a year before he passed away in his tragical car accident.Social/Sharing |

The faces of horror and panic! It's not something you'd typically find in Raymond strips and it shows his range.

Great looking daily! I like how animated Raymond made the character in the first panel but that second panel is perfect. Lots of girls too...and a panther...not much else to ask for in a Rip Kirby.
