DescriptionEach issue of this era of Showcase contained three partial stories. In this story by Charles Moore, a Khund A.I. likes Supergirl so much that it steals her body (the titular "perfect form") to remake it as a home. Emerging talents Immomen and Von Grawbadger would make successively larger splashes over time. This page reminds me of Alan Davis' lines. The production process had several steps beyond pencil, ink, and lettering. The Supergirl in panel 1 is a stat patch made from the image in panel 2. There are also not one, but two surprint pages used for "color hold" effects. One shows the horizontal white lines on the viewscreen in panel 1. The other has much puffier smoke for the flying figures in panel three. The smoke was originally rendered in thin red pen, with a marginal notation not to include it on the finished art. A note on the top surprint says, "Tom, work your surprint magic on this bad boy!" It has been taped over but is still visible in reverse on the back of the onionskin suprint paper.
