PERRY RHODAN Heyne Paperback #9 (Original Cover Art) - Alfred Kelsner (born May 24, 1949)

»Invasion der Puppen« (Invasion of the Puppets) is episode #9 of the German PERRY RHODAN Planet Novel Heyne Paperback edition published in 1995.

Signed by the artist. Gouache/Acryl-mixed media on illustration board.

Kelsner kept the piece very close to the Bruck cover of the first printed edition (1965) but gave it its own creative touch which I like as well. I also have the Bruck original on CAF so you can contrast and compare.

The gold and blue compliment each other on the painting really well, so throwing in a red doll purposely upsets the color scheme to cause you to look.
