13�x20� (framed 18�x24�) Painted in 1965; purchased in 2023. Published on the cover of History Was Made In Bed by Paul Croville (Tower, 1965). This goes very nicely with my Shannon Stirnweis piece, The Hell-Fire Club.

Sex is a very powerful force to build empires, broker peace, or wage war through the entirety of history. Nice depiction with period accurate wardrobes. All having that darker layer over it so they can get away with more suggestive poses and exposed flesh.
