Description

Micky Maus Magazin #29 Donald Duck Ice Cream Vendor with Penguins Cover Illustration Original Art by Ray Nicholson with Copy of Magazine (Walt Disney, 2002). Setting up his ice cream stand near the zoo entrance is paying off for Donald - here comes some customers needing to cool off with a cone! This cover illustration to a German Disney weekly magazine/comic is by Dutch cartoonist Ray Nicholson; since 1990, he's been the magazine's official cover artist, and with this kind of quality, we can see why! The art is in ink on Bristol board, hand-signed by the artist in the lower left corner. The art is matted with an opening of approximately 11" x 10.5", and the image neatly fits in the aperture. Overall mat size is 15.75" x 15.25". I have A copy of the published magazine with the image reversed with the illustration. Art condition is Very Good to Fine with light handling and a small amount of whiteout near the main penguin's foot.
