Description

Even on the best of days, everyone knows that crossing paths with a Black Cat can have dire consequences� but this close to Halloween?!? Forget about it! (Just ask these goons�!)

A fantastic Dodson and Dodson rendering of the sly, sultry, sassy minx that is the felonious feline, Felicia Hardy, as she relieves these questionable gents of their Satan Claw, thankyouverymuch.

A page jam packed with action (and Rachel's terrific inks assure Felicia is never lost in the sea of henchmen), but we're given a quick break for a thrilling airborne moment in panel 5 as the Cat zooms past. This panel shows us how beautifully the Dodsons can compose (and play with the movement in) a big block of a vertical panel: Felicia is gorgeous, of course, but the viewer's eye swoops upward and to the right along the path of her leg (and the recoiling henchmen with the great feathered brushwork hair!), where it lightly comes to rest on the mysterious figure, staring out the window, unconcerned about the action behind him.

Neat trick; sweet treat! Hope everyone is gearing up for a great Halloween!

Yeah, who is that unconcerned guy just standing there? And you're right, Black Cat's kick brings your eye right to him. I love the panel layout of this page, and how the Dodsons do make sure Black Cat is never lost in all the action. My favorite panel is that top right one where we get that sly, confident smile of Felicia's -- she always seems to enjoy her altercations. And why not? She totally rocks! BIG fan of this page -- congrats, Jason!

Great action page with Terry & Rachel's trademark BC in every gorgeous panel (especially that middle one). Being a huge fan of the old school Defenders, I honestly don't even know who the members of the 2012 team are, but this page really makes me want to find out. Nice pickup buddy!

Wow, what a SUPERB action sequence full of shiny leather and lace! Okay, maybe there's no lace, but there sure is a helluvalot of shiny leather! I think my favourite part of the entire page though, might just be Felicia's beautiful face in the 2nd panel. The image in the money shot panel ia quite enticing as well, however. Either way, how can you not love all this pussy? Cat, that is!

Great Kung Fu pussy fightin' page for sure. I never read the second arc of the series so I never saw this gem of a page (when Dodson was still producing faultless work on any of his projects).

Love those top 4 panels lead up to the big kickin' splash! In the latter she's got that expression to give her kick that oomph but she's back to the smirk right after :) Same one at the top right. Dodson is one of those artists that come to mind when thinking "Felicia" and pieces like this are why. Congrats, man!
