Description

I met Mike Royer for the 1st time over the weekend. Originally, I was thinking I wanted a Kirby style character sketch from Mike, but when I saw this Frankenstein’s Monster sketch with the intricate cross-hatching, my mindset was quickly changed. Obtained directly from Mike at the 2023 OMCBS in AZ. Thanks Mike!

Pretty nice when you look from afar and see how much the crosshatching creates smoothness and tone. This shows that Royer's artistic interests and talent has a wider range than inking and designing Disney products.
