Description

Raven and Hu-Shee having some girl talk. This is one I bought from Wally on CAFLive. I am a sucker for Caniff's women and I love the polka dot dress pattern he had used before. These are my favorite second tier cast members as well. I also like how impossibly thin Caniff makes certain characters like April Kane and in this case Hu-Shee. I had just bought over 40 Terrys in that big collection so you think I'd be done, at least for now. The question always arises if there is room for another Caniff...asked and answered.

Caniff's understanding of shading and light is exemplified perfectly in this example. That last panel is top notch.

The chiariscuro is amazing. As with many of his strips...very cinematic! And I really don't see how you can put any limitations on your Caniff gallery...it becomes more spectacular with each posting!

Omg, the spotting of blacks here is phenomenal. Absolutely out of this world!
