Description

I've owned this piece for quite a while and wish I knew its background. Clearly Al Kilgore, the wonderful cartoonist, illustrator and caricaturist, was friends with Walter Berndt, the creator of Smitty. It's a fun piece in which Smitty and Herbie recognize how old they should be. I also love how Herbie points out the signature. Fun stuff.
