Description

Back in 2007, I got the idea to do a series of commissions in which artists re-interpreted entire panel pages from Marvel Two in One 76 (the first comic I ever bought as a kid) in their own style, using only a re-created script and reference images to work from. The cover and all the story pages have been done - or, more accurately, re-done - for a while now, but my completist tendencies had me expand the project to include reinterpretations of the ads in the book, too.

With that in mind, here is a reinterpretation of the ad for 100 Piece Toy Soldiers with Footlocker from Lucky Products, originally drawn by Russ Heath.

Appeared across all comics for months! It's as iconic as cornerbox art to define an age of comics.
