Description

For the Legion's anniversary issue in #300 (really Superboy #300), there were several what-if sequences featuring art from classic Legion artists. This sequence was drawn by Joe Staton with nice inking by Dick Giordano.

Basically this is what would have happened if Blok had actually betrayed the Legion. I love the infighting here as well as the great bottom right panel where Blok is basically spitting at the team in contempt.

Sadly this was my only Legion art pickup for 2023. Please let me know if anyone sees any of the Dave Cockrum pages from this issue for sale. I'd really love to add one to my collection.

It's a rare one indeed with the milestone nature of the issue that brought a lot more eyes to it and made it memorable for more readers who hopped on the title here.
