Description

Deux dessins à l'encre sur papier signés et datés 1948, dédicacés au directeur des Editions du Scorpion Jean d’Halluin (1923-1980) et son épouse Colette : Triton 21 x 29 cm / Sirène 21 x 28 cm.
Jean Boullet avait réalisé en 1947 pour les Editions du Scorpion les dessins de l'édition illustrée de 'J'irai cracher sur vos tombes' de Boris Vian.

Two ink drawings on paper signed and dated 1948, inscribed to the director of Editions du Scorpion Jean d'Halluin (1923-1980) and his wife Colette: Merman 21 x 29 cm / Mermaid 21 x 28 cm.
Jean Boullet had created the artwork for the illustrated edition of Boris Vian's postwar hardoiled fiction pastiche 'I Spit on Your Graves' [J'irai cracher sur vos tombes] for Editions du Scorpion in 1947.

Looks so incredible with the webbed fish hands to make them look less fairy tale and more how people would believe them as a product of evolution!
