Frazetta + Conan = Magic!!! A wonderful example of the Master Artist and the subject he knew so well.

While it would be nice to get the detailed musculature and more, this straight out rendering of arguably Fritz's most famous and successful characters (maybe not counting Tarzan) gives you all the intensity and menace you'd expect from REH's character.

Attesting to his artistic gravitas, long-time fan and friend of the artist Dave Winiewicz writes about this image's creation, "... very very minor convention sketches executed in 30 seconds, not more. To capture such distinctive character and life in a few abbreviated strokes is his genius. And, finally, look at an example of his mature signature�fascinating for its lively surface and its precision. It bristles with the life of the pen. We feel it and take joy in it. A gift from the master.

It's quite rebellious and handsome to have that long hair and earrings look for this self made squared jaw hero.
