Description

From August 1997.

Scott generously gifted me a group of pages from his early run on Nightwing. When I started picking up pieces from that title it gave my collection more of a focus. I always went for the covers and occasionally splash pages. Now I wish I had picked up more of the interiors.

Fascinating page from Scott McDaniel. I love the high contrast effect Scott used here, it reminds me a bit of Frank Miller's work on Sin City, but that's not a bad thing. It's interesting how little graphic information we need to understand what's going on. It's always enjoyable to see artists like McDaniel experimenting with style. Great pick-up, congrats!
