Description

Actually, it's Jane Porter (Clayton) from the Tarzan books. Apparently, this sketch came from one of Tim Sale's girlfriend Jane's sketchbooks back in 1998. The sketchbooks were dismantled and are currently (2023) being sold on eBay. Even though I dislike sketchbooks being torn apart, I'm glad to have picked up this great Nowlan sketch.

The pencil shading is awesome! Those are signature Nowlan thin ink lines on her face.
