Description

Dorian Cleavenger commissioned art recreation of Jim Steranko's 1978 cover for Jove's Shadow #22, The Silent Death and features pulp hero The Shadow battling mad doctor w/damsel shackled in glass chamber. Great bondage cover done in the classic pulp style. It's beautiful.

Framed 17" x 20" frame has double-matted painting original art by noted fantasy and comic book artist Dorian Cleavenger. Art is 10 x12" insight matted image size.

I am in process of selling several Dorian and have these PRIME pieces available not yet posted: The Water Nymph, The Guardian, Daughters of Darkness 3 - Gallery Girls Cover which is a masterpiece, The Hazing, Purgatori cover (I posted) and I am open to selling a Heavy Metal cover and my Angel of Eden (I posted) for the right price. Some not yet posted but if you are interested reach out to me. I just discovered I am MOVING and losing a ton of wall space. I am keeping Shadow. Too much love for this pulp find and its a small size I can put almost anywhere.

Bondaged and glasstubed girl! Two types of pulp genre's when Sci-fi mad scientist meets vigilante justice of the Shadow! The canvas texture shows through to have an even more authentic vintage look.
