Description1st Appearance of "The Man-Killer"! This stunning 52 year-old Bronze Age beauty from 1973 features gorgeous brush-and-ink images of "The Cat" in all 4 panels! It also contains a large 2-thirds size splash panel of "The Cat" in a battle against "The Man-Killer", a 'quasi-cyborg' who embarked upon a rampage of death and destruction in her FIRST APPEARANCE which caused "The Cat" to seek out Spider-Man for additional help in order to defeat this formidable foe! The page was penciled, inked, and signed by the great Jim Mooney who worked on many classic Spider-Man stories in the 1960's and 1970's and his lush inking style is on full display here! There is a bit of tape and “printer’s staining" around the edges but the artwork itself still displays beautifully! Bronze Age art featuring "The Cat" has become very scarce to the marketplace! This is P.6 of the story and P.8 of the comic book. A copy of the 1973 comic book will be included with purchase (please examine all pictures).Social/Sharing |
