DescriptionFrom Heritage "Tom Sutton Planet of the Apes #20 Story Page 7 Original Art (Marvel, 1976). An explosive page from the movie-inspired magazine. Created in ink and ink wash over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13.5" x 19.75". Toned and in Very Good condition."What a massive page and just stunning in person. This is pure unfettered Tom Sutton, energy is pouring off the page. Plus it is art from POTA which has been a fun franchise and we have another new movie coming out soon. As I excitedly tell my wife this is one we have to see, she rolls her eyes and will probably order two nine ounce wines at the theater. I feel that this was some of Tom's best art and spot on story telling. Happy to have won this auction. Social/Sharing |

In your wife's defence and I love the series by the way. Watching monkeys is always better with a few glasses of wine on board.
