Description

Just a great looking page and by one of the less renowned artists Sam Glanzman. His work and Tim Truman have similar qualities and when was Is inked by Sam if feels seamless.

Sam never got the acclaim I think he deserved because his main work was war comics. But his work is great and the second to last panel is excellent.

They were incorporating more fantasy and supernatural tales into these war comics as this one has mystics and time travel to the 4th century. Maybe they were mixing genres to shake up the old formula and give Glanzman a showcase to show off his artistic abilities.
