DescriptionWow! Elmer Cantada knocked this one out of the ballpark! It reminds of the first New York City scene in the 1994 Shadow movie.A huge thank you to Elmer and Jiggy Cruz of Next Comic Art. The piece was unboxed and revealed on Bill Cox's Comic Art Live YouTube channel at the 53:46 mark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvxU_BDgMVc Social/Sharing |

Lucked out with Cantada going the extra mile to make this look like a full page with storytelling. Classic inset panel of the intense stare!

I hoped an artist from Next Comic Art would pick my request because I wanted to see how they would approach a classic pulp character. As Hubert Humphrey would say, I'm pleased as punch with the result! Or, as Jack Abel would say, hubba, hubba!

Thanks Lee. It indeed looks like a page. EV is very talented. He should be hired to do a Shadow series!
