DescriptionOriginal artwork by Gary Spencer Millidge.First published in "Strangehaven" #6, page 10 & 11 (1997). Reproduced in Strangehaven: Arcadia (1998) Media: Gouache and mixed media on 2 mm thick watercolour board. Approximate dimensions: *11*” x *9.5*” (*245 *mm x *285 *mm) A selection of painted panels as they appeared on pages 10 & 11 of Strangehaven issue #6. This painted artwork was created separately to the line artwork, scanned by a local typesetting company, and supplied as a photographic ‘bromide’ which was then cut and pasted onto the appropriate sections of the original line artwork. I would imagine that the Amazon river image would have been done this same way with a different level of realism and style change to the rest of Millidge's line art.
