Description

Val Semeiks and Alfredo Alcala Conan the Barbarian #209 Story Page 14 Original Art (Marvel, 1988). From the story "Dark Horse", Conan wrestles with the titular evil winged horse across three large dynamic panels. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Trimmed upper margin and corner, production tape, production marks, whiteout, toning, and handling wear. Signed in the lower right by Alfredo Alcala and in Very Good condition.

I guess this foreshadows Conan going to Dark Horse over a decade later. Big and bold action panels designed by Semeiks you'd only used to get in super hero books,the Alcala inks add the timeless sheen to the fantasy illustration type look.
