Description

15" x 10" image area. Ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board. Hero for Hire #14 Page 4 original art (Marvel, 1973). Billy Graham. Written as page 5 but this was due to ads that pushed it forward a page.

Great imagery that borrows the lore and look of Alcatraz. Shades and Comanche recall their daring prison escape and journey to New York to get their revenge against Luke Cage.

Their nicknames are kind of on the nose. The last three panels are so good and they don't even have characters on them. I don't think it's a coincidence that the prsion is drawn in silhouette the same way as the city.
