Transformers Optimus Prime by Sean Gordon Murphy
The end of 2023 was kinda rough for me. One of the comics that got me through was Daniel Warren Johnson�s Transformers, which captures the incredible action and heart that DWJ brings to his projects, it also got me going back and rediscovering Transformers as a whole. Which prior to that I was mainly familiar with due to the Michael Bay movies. My deep dive has had me exploring the IDW comics, Transformers Prime Animated Series and more.
I love Sean�s White Knight Universe, each series has improved on the previous. I particularly enjoyed Curse of the White Knight. Murphy is an incredible artist and burgeoning writer. While many well-deserved accolades are given to his vehicle design his character design is equally impressive. At Comic Art Fans Inaugural OAX Sean Gordon Murphy was a guest and was offering a chance for remarks, which to call these Remarks is a MASSIVE understatement I thought Sean would have some fun drawing Optimus Prime and I would have a blast watching him draw Optimus Prime. Watching Sean build his illustrations is really something that needs to be seen to be believed, Watching his technique in person was really something

I heard about Sean's upgraded remarques afterwards, so congrats on getting a trio of them! Love his take on Optimus here, and the use of colors really takes it up a notch.
