Description

The 2024 OAX show was one that likely won't be repeated for Gerhard. He brought 15 Cerebus Pages/Covers and 40+ pre-made sketches and left with none! He was so thrilled with the eagerness and sincerity of the fans that wanted to take home a piece of his art. Thank you to all who stopped by the booth.

One of the nice nuances of the show was that there was an hour and a half on Sunday where you could go around and get quick sketches from the artists... and they gave you these cool little cards to do it on. I cheated a little bit and got Gerhard to draw mine after the official hours.

Hmmm... what to ask for? Well, I decided on corn because I was always so impressed by the way Gerhard would draw corn fields in Cerebus. Why not get my own unique "corny" sketch? Just one of the many memories from this show.
