Description

In this sequence, Captain Raader returns to her pirate ship and confronts the mutineers who marooned her in a previous issue. Her reflection fills the multifaceted eye of Logik, the insectoid ringleader of the traitors, who admits that they have suffered without her leadership. I wonder whether Mantis inspired N'Grath, the insectoid black marketeer on television show "Babylon 5."

It's great work of the time when RPGs and indie comics were also driving the fantasy advneture genre. Isherwood must have channeled old school adventure illustration strip art.
