DescriptionFor my 2nd Dean Kotz commission I found his rendering style to be much easier to approach as there were more blacks and traditional light and shadows rendering, possibly to match the supernatural/darker material. This is Damon Owens 107th commission for me, his last being the previous Dean Kotz piece. I think the is my only Mantor commission. For this "Heroes Redrawn" theme, Damon has a contemporary artist redraw a sequential page from the Golden/Silver/Bronze-ages of Comics, in this case GA, and the more obscure the character the better. This was inked over the original pencils (although he used some blue pencils on 11"x17" 2-ply board)and I completed it on October 15, 2021.Social/Sharing |
