Description

One of my semi-regular clients is Michael Finn, recognized here at CAF as the "One Minute Later" guy. I've been fortunate to have done 18 OML commissions for him, the last being in this CAF gallery with the Invaders by Julius M. Gopez on 3/18/18.
Since then he's been a one man force of nature with his crowdfunded Liberty Brigade material for his Thrilling Nostalgia Press where he's printed unpublished Golden-age story/art and commissioned new story/art with public domain characters. Because of this, his resources have been redirected away from his OML commission-themed and other themed gallery and towards the publishing.

This first job is intended as either a cover, pinup or splash and it was inked as a blueline printed on 11"x17" Kubert 2-ply board. It has good guy characters the Red Bee and Yellowjacket and bad guy characters Blitzkrieg and the Black Axeman in open combat as pencilled by newcomer to me Renato Rei. It is my 22nd job from Michael but going forward with his Thrilling Nostalgia project I will probably not be posted that material here since it'll be intended for publication. Initially I didn't know what this was for in general (and now, specifically) so it was saved with my ongoing commissions info. I completed it May 24, 2022.
