Very nice early page of the Ka-zar the Savage series by Anderson! Marvel most likely wanted a jungle fantasy world for Ka-Zar as a response to the popularity of Warlord and Tarzan for DC and indies of the time. You can tell it is of higher quality with Brent Anderson's artwork having a lot of the realism in form and anatomy of Shanna and the winged aerian people.
