DescriptionModesty and her partner Willie Garvin are on another rescue mission. The marker background in the middle panel has faded a bit. The third panel has a nice dutch angle. This strip is "Syndication Only," meaning that it was a Saturday strip which did not run in London's Evening Standard newspaper, which had no Saturday edition. The Friday strip immediately preceding it would have been #7104, and the Saturday strips (all labeled the same number as the Friday, plus the letter "A") contained no essential plot developments. A rare case where the artist came back to the strip for a second stint! Romero's second time around lasted even longer than his first 8 back in the 70's!
