Description

Early silver age DC page, created by the godfathers of the Green Lantern mythology. First appearance of Tomar-Re. Next to Kilowog, he’s my favorite alien GL. This is also one the earliest books Hal Jordan appeared in. So many cool aspects to this page. From Hal Jordan and Tomar defeating invading space monsters to discussing the Guardians and rules of the ring charge. Truly historical page, big thanks to Mike Burkey for selling this to me and his patience along the way

A nice key issue as it showed that even alien races can be heroic and allies! This issue predates Fantastc Four #1, so the concept was prevalent before Marvel came on the scene.

Mike Burkey had lots of nice pages from GL issue 6 for sale but this one is stellar with both Hal and Tomar-Re in action together. Congratulations!
