Description

Frazer Irving is a great British artist who has distinguished himself with his work with Grant Morrison on books like Batman and Robin. He is also the co-creator of Annihilator, which is a mad and brilliant work of art.

A few months ago, Frazer opened up his commission list. He was offering 11" x 17" watercolor commissions featuring a character of your choice. I contacted Frazer and asked for my favorite villain, Two-Face, in his suit from Batman: The Animated Series. My one contribution to the art was suggesting that since we are dealing with Harvey Dent, a binary background was in order. Frazer ran with my idea and I love how this piece turned out.

Frazer was the consummate professional and kept me informed every step of the way. From start to finish, this watercolor painting was completed in five weeks. I'm very happy with the results.

Wow! What a splendid portrait of Two-Face by Frazer Irving! Love the half-black, half-white costume that parallels the scared face/unscared face we're all familiar with. Emphasizing that with the red/black background really makes this drawing special. Gorgeous commission, congrats!
