Descriptionso sketch covers always interested me but i always felt it was weird to get a sketch cover from someone who didn't work on the book. so my sketch cover collection is pretty small but again, i love the idea. i also never know what the right way to display a sketch cover is. so i was packing for sdcc one year and i got the idea of slapping gesso or white paint on a carded toy and having someone draw on it, similar to a sketch cover. it started off as a novelty but then i got really into what toys and what artists would make the best combination. i love the misfits and i love Jim Mahfood and i know he's a fan so i mailed him a misfits toy by super 7 and he did the rest!sorry for the bad photo but these are a bitch to even think about scanning. but they're super easy to hang! the hardest part is the shitty glue sometimes doesn't stick and the toy and bubble fall right off the card.
