DescriptionThat prime Kirby FF page will have to wait until I hit the Powerball, but until then, this Dick Ayers Strange Tales page is a really fun example that I'm happy to have in the collection.This twice-up scale panel page from the story titled "The Threat of the Torrid Twosome" introduces Carl Zante, "The World's Greatest Acrobat", duping the Human Torch into helping him rob the Glenville Bank. However, his escape is thwarted by the arrival of the members of Marvel's First Family, the Fantastic Four! This page features nice shots of all four members in action. Social/Sharing |

A great one from the early foundations of the Marvel Universe! Real fun with the lesser seen FF work by Ayers that showed how popular they had gotten invading into Marvel's long running monster book.

Classic Marvel firing on all cylinders! I especially love that third pane and great early Thing.
