I like that camera angle as it makes them look like squat buff action figures of the time! McDonnell does a nice job with the arms and fists popping outward towards the center of the composition too.

Finally, some Ostrander era fan art for a change. I have the entire run plus many of the tie ins. Hated the DC New 52 reboot and same goes for those awful movies. Thanks for posting this!

I love Luke McDonnell art and have over a dozen commissions from him myself. If you ever decide to get this piece inked, keep Bob Almond in mind. He does a great job inking Luke, and this piece is awesome.
