Description

this one is great.
i saw that brent anderson was in artist alley and i really wanted to meet him. i got to his table and there was a much younger person than i could have imagined sitting there. i asked him if by chance he was brent or knew when brent would arrive. he looked embarrassed and he said he was actually just squatting at the first empty table he could find. i looked down at his stuff and saw that he had Pop Gun War issues on the table. Pop Gun War was one of those comics i was collecting as they came out that i was in love with!
"farel?" i asked.
he confirmed he was him.
i have ZERO idea of what happened after that but man was i on cloud 9 after that.
he must have been living in new york at the time b/c i do remember telling him how i lived in houston and was confused by why new yorkers pronounce it the way they do.
we've crossed paths a few times since.
and goddamn am i still a huge fan of his work.
