Description

"The Dead Draftees of Regiment Six!" by Michael Fleisher and Russell Carley. 15th page of the 18-page story.

Draftees add fuel to a fire at an induction center. A mob forms that starts fires at other induction centers and targets abolitionists and African-Americans.

Interesting what they did with the slur. It was still used a lot in the mid 70's and I hear it's making a comeback on X. Aside from the writing, the pure evil shown in the mob is what is so striking! This lady begging for mercy is only going to draw attention to herself.
